D Max | Urethane Bump Stop Rubber (Soft Version for Rear Suspension)

The bump rubber we developed this time has the same shape as the conventional product, but the urethane hardness has been softened. We developed this in order to obtain different bump touch feelings depending on the driver. The bump rubber acts as a second spring. If you hit the bump rubber from a certain stroke position and crush it, it has the same effect as increasing the spring rate. A high rate allows the tire to be crushed more, making it possible to increase grip. If the speed at which the bump rubber hits the tire is too fast or too hard, the tire will be crushed all at once and the tire will be defeated, so our bump rubber has a variable rate structure that generates a slow rate.
