The factory thermostat's opening temperature is set at 82°C to comply with exhaust gas regulations and improve heater efficiency.

This thermostat opens at 78°C, circulating hot coolant to the radiator sooner, maintaining a constant coolant temperature of 80-85°C during driving, even at medium to high RPMs. It can even keep the factory radiator below a maximum of 90°C.

☆ This prevents power loss and heat loss caused by ignition timing and fuel adjustment corrections that occur when the engine temperature exceeds 90°C, allowing you to more efficiently maximize your engine's potential. Recommended for sports and circuit driving.

Separately, by lowering the fan operating temperature setting in the ECU, even more efficient cooling is possible.
 

Fits early and late models, AT, MT (5/6 speed), and all NC models.

*Some early model vehicles may require shortening of the 30mm hose.
*The listed values may vary slightly depending on the outside temperature, etc., and are not guaranteed.
